Our patterns each serve a specific purpose within the user flow. We have created a wide range of patterns that you can use to build templates and pages following the content-out principle.

  • Accordions

    A list of expandable accordion elements, each with a heading and text content.

  • Archive

    A list of all posts assigned to this category, tag, or taxonomy.

  • Archive Intro

    Intro for archive pages (overview pages) for categories, tags, and taxonomies.

  • Breadcrumbs

    A clickable list of parent hierarchy levels for quick navigation and orientation.

  • Child Pages

    A list of pages that are subordinate to the current page.

  • Comments

    Comment section with a list of all comments and a form for submitting new comments. Comments can be replied to one level deep.

  • Contact Form

    A contact form with all common input fields and form elements.

  • Contact Information

    General contact information such as address, opening hours, and directions. With a map or visual representation.

  • Contact Person

    Contact information and details about a person or a list of people.

  • CTA

    A focused section with a clear call to action. Optionally enhanced with visuals.

  • CV

    A résumé with general information about the person, a list of skills, and a career history.

  • Downloads

    A list of files available for download.

  • Event Intro

    An intro section for the detail page of an event, appointment, or scheduled date.

    A list of events, appointments, or scheduled dates.

    A section in which important content is presented with added visual emphasis.

  • Featured Posts

  • Filter

    A list of content that can be filtered down using a set of filter criteria.

  • Footer

    Globally visible website area displayed on all pages, containing required legal information.

  • Gallery

    An image gallery with multiple images that can be viewed in full screen.

  • Glossary

    A linked overview of all letters of the alphabet with anchor links to sections listing detailed content for each letter.

  • Header

    Globally visible website area displayed on all pages, containing a logo, various navigation areas of unlimited depth, and a search function.

  • Home Intro

    Intro for the blog homepage or the front page.

  • Interview

    Interview with alternating questions and answers.

  • Job Teasers

    A list of jobs, each with a job title and location.

  • Page Intro

    Intro section for pages with a heading, introductory text, and optional visual.

  • Page Teasers

    A list of automatically loaded (dynamic) or editorially defined (static) page teasers.

  • Person Intro

    Intro section for the detail page of a person, with a photo and additional high-level information.

    A process visualization with milestones in a defined sequence.

    Product detail tabs displaying description, attributes, and customer reviews for a single product.

  • Product Intro

    Single product intro section with image gallery and sticky product details panel including price, add-to-cart, and meta information.

    A list of thematically relevant posts. Assignment is automatic based on matching categories.

  • Rich Text

  • Search Intro

    Intro section for search results with an input field for performing a new search.

  • Share & Print

    Buttons for printing or sharing the website via the operating system’s native sharing functionality.

  • Tabs (Tabbed Content)

    The content sections of the same page can be accessed via tabs. Only one content section can be displayed at a time.

  • Topics

    An entry point into key topics, categories, or taxonomies.

  • Up-Selling Products

    A list of higher-value products presented as alternatives to another product.
